AUDITIONS - Choral Ensemble
Placement (Spring 2006)
| Membership in all USF choral ensembles is done by
audition.
USF choral ensembles are open to all students throughout the
University regardless of major.
Fall auditions signup are located in the School of Music office - FAH
136 or call 813-974-2311. |

Auditions for Fall, 2006:
Sunday - Tuesday, August 27-29, 2006.
Call Backs for USF Chamber Singers
Thursday, August 31 - 12:00noon
Please call 813-974-0444 if you are interested in participating in one of
the USF Choirs.
Requirements:
- Sightsinging, rhythm and vocal exercises
- Sing a song, such as America the Beautiful
or Amazing Grace
- Interview with Dr. Zielinski.
More General Information:
- Auditions are required for ALL ensembles.
- Ensembles are open to students from any major or college within the
University.
- All students, incoming and returning, are required to audition regardless
of prior experience in USF ensembles. All incoming freshman are required to
audition for ensemble placement – this is separate from your admission
audition.
- All auditions are held in FAH 203, Dr. Zielinski’s office, located on the
second floor of the south music building behind the music admissions area.
- Audition time slots are five-eight minutes each. Please arrive ten to
fifteen minutes prior to your reserved time.
- Placement is generally informal. This is an opportunity for you to meet
Dr. Zielinski and for him to meet you.
Please Note: Ensemble placement auditions are separate from
scholarship/admission
auditions.
