USF Chamber Singers
(MUN 3343/6345) Tuesday/Thursday, 12:00-1:50 pm; Friday 12:00-12:50 pm

The University of South Florida Chamber Singers serve as our University’s premier, select choral ensemble. The Chamber Singers strive, through a diverse and sophisticated repertoire, to bring audiences the very best in choral artistry and professionalism. This select ensemble is comprised of undergraduate and graduate music majors, as well as experienced singers from other academic disciplines. An interesting and challenging rehearsal and performance schedule includes performances on and off campus.

Bel Canto Women's Chorus
(MUN 3313/6315, Sect 001); Monday 12:00-1:50 pm, Wednesday/Friday 1:00-1:50pm

The Bel Canto Women's Chorus is a select auditioned treble choir under the direction of Dr. Lynne Gackle.  This choir performs selections reflecting various style periods and genres from the vast repertoire of treble music currently available.  Rehearsals are highly organized and fast-paced providing a forum for the development of vocal skills, musicianship and choral techniques.  Through the experience of artistic music-making the choir also provides a setting which allows for the development of rewarding friendships for its members.  Bel Canto routinely collaborates with Concert Choir on combined performances giving its members the added opportunity of singing in a mixed voice setting as well as that for women only.

University Singers
(MUN 3313/6315, Sect 901); Monday 7:00 - 10:00pm

The University Singers is an auditioned, mixed choir under the direction of Dr. Richard Zielinski. Made up of singers from the USF School of Music, other academic disciplines, and the USF community, the Concert Choir performs a wide and interesting variety of choral selections. Rehearsals are organized, spirited, and rewarding, resulting in a vibrant choral organization presenting concerts locally and on campus. This choir offers an excellent singing opportunity for those seeking a less time-consuming rehearsal/performance commitment, but still want to make great choral music.
